A few weeks before a new hunt is released, we will announce the hunt on our website, send an email to everyone on our mailing list, and post an announcement in our Happy Hunting Facebook Group.
Each hunt will have an entry fee. Hunters can purchase entry into a hunt on the Join the Hunt page until the day before the hunt. On the day the hunt is released, the riddle will be emailed to everyone who has purchased entry at 10am sharp!
Solving the riddle will require a bit of research and critical thinking, but rest assured, our riddles don't require a Mensa-level IQ to solve. Once solved, the riddle will reveal the location of treasure. While you may be able to solve the riddle from your phone or computer, finding the treasure will require boots on the ground (traveling to the physical location you believe the treasure to be).
Some months, we'll release multi-stage hunts. These hunts will require particpants to travel to multiple locations and solve mutliple puzzles/riddles to find the final location of the treasure!
Important: We will never send hunters to dangerous locations, private property or graveyards (yes that means cemeteries too!). Similarly, you won't need athletic prowess to reach the treasure's location.
The treasure you are looking for is a 2.5'' x 2.5'' plastic container with a Happy Hunting pin drop logo sticker. Inside will be a secret code. Email the secret code to our team to claim your prize. Only one prize will be awarded per hunt.
Once the secret code is verified, the winner of each hunt will immediately receive a cash prize. Cash prizes will vary depending on the total number of participants in each hunt. We will announce the prize amount before the beginning of each hunt.
Clues may or may not be provided. If a clue is provided, an announcement will be made prior to issuance, to ensure all Hunters are on a level playing field.
While hunt times vary, we expect that each hunt will be solved in under a week.
COVID-19: Please be considerate of others when hunting. Responsible social distancing should be practiced when around other hunters.
