Where do the hunts take place?

We are currently only hosting treasure hunts in Massachusetts. We are hoping to expand and be able to host hunts throughout New England in the future. Prior to each hunt - a map may be shared with participants showing specific counties in Massachusetts where the hunt will NOT take place. We do this to give hunters an idea of where the treasure may be, while not giving too much information away!

Can we hunt as a team?

Of course! One of the most enjoyable parts of treasure hunting is the team comradery. The entry fee covers the full team. We do ask that you not share the riddle with anyone not on your team.

How old do I have to be to join a hunt?

To purchase entry into one of our hunts (and to claim a prize) you must be 18 years or older.

Why is there an entry fee?

While we would love to be able to hide $2 million of gold and jewels, or offer a dozen prized gems to our hunters, we are dependent on crowd sourcing to fund our hunts and prizes at this time.

Do I need a metal detector or shovel?

NEVER! To preserve the integrity of the awesome places we hide our clues and treasures, there will never be a time where you will be required to dig a hole anywhere to find our clues/treasure. Please do not dig holes! Our treasure box is made of plastic so a metal detector won't be of use on our hunts.

How often will hunts take place?

The cadence of hunts will vary. We anticipate hosting ~1 month each month with specialty hunts planned through the year.

Can we continue solving the puzzles, even after the treasure has been found?

Yes! We will leave all clues/puzzles in place for a least one week after the treasure has been found to allow for teams who are interested to complete the full treasure hunt experience. We do post the solution on our Facebook page at the completion of the hunt, but will make sure to include SPOILER ALERT headers to all walkthrough posts.
